Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly — name, email, phone number, course preferences, payment details — when you register, enrol, or contact us. We also collect technical data automatically (IP address, device type, browser, referrer, pages visited) when you use our platform.

• Account & profile data (name, email, phone, role).
• Enrolment & payment data (course, batch, transaction reference).
• Usage telemetry (page views, lesson progress, mock-test scores).
• Support communications (chat transcripts, tickets, recordings of mock interviews you opt into).

We use your information to deliver the service you signed up for, improve it, and stay compliant with the law.

• Provision course access, run cohorts, and deliver learning content.
• Process payments and issue invoices / certificates.
• Personalise course recommendations and placement matches.
• Send essential transactional and account notifications.
• Send marketing updates only where you have opted in.

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with vetted processors needed to run the service — payment gateways, email providers, cloud hosting (AWS), analytics, and hiring partners with your consent during placements.

We disclose data when legally required (court orders, regulator requests) and when necessary to defend our rights, prevent fraud, or protect users.

We retain account and learning data for as long as your account is active and for up to seven years after closure to honour lifetime placement support and meet statutory obligations. Telemetry is aggregated or deleted within 24 months.

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular audits. No system is impenetrable — if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the regulator within 72 hours of confirmation.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@5trainers.com. We respond within 30 days.

Our services are intended for users aged 16 and above. If you believe a minor has provided us data without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

We update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a banner on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect.
